The English champions, Man City played host to Crystal Palace for Saturday’s early kick-off. Pellegrini’s men were merciless as they made no mistakes in defense and scored three goals. Silva and Toure shared all the goals in absence of the main strikers. On the other hand, Manchester City’s fierce city rivals, Man United lost two points over the weekend. The Red Devils traveled to Villa Park in search for yet another victory. But Louis van Gaal’s men were held to a 1 – 1 draw. Radamel Falcao’s goal could be considered a positive for the 20-time English champions. If he could keep up his scoring form, the Colombian can certainly finish the season among the top scorers of the league. The draw was 3/1 and thus it was a good result for those who betted on it.

Saints picked up three points against the Merseyside team, Everton, after losing a lot of games in the previous weeks. Tottenham also won at the weekend against Burnley and the final score was 2 – 1. West Ham kept their good run of form against Leicester City at home. The odds were already stacked against the teams on the losing side. So, not many surprises there.

Jack Colback’s first appearance against Sunderland didn’t work out well as Johnson scored the only goal of the game in the last minute of the normal time.

In the much awaited fixture at Anfield, the Merseyside giants invited the Gunners. After a lot of drama, the match ended 2 – 2. Arsenal couldn’t grab the winner even after Borini’s red card. The odds of match ending in a draw were 12/5. People betting for this result must have had a good return on their bets.
